T3 Tools

There is a range of Teaching Tracker Tools (T3 Tools) with different purposes, designed to focus on specific areas of practice. These areas can be identified by the mentor teacher/observer or the teacher (candidate) being observed and are as follows:

  1. Make, say, do, write
  2. Checklist of observed behaviours
  3. Remote self and peer observation checklists
  4. Verbal flow
  5. Proximity chart
  6. Post lesson discussion questions
  7. Student feedback survey (Google Form)
  8. Questioning

Each tool is available as an Interactive PDF download. We recommend that for a single lesson 1-2 tools are used.  Select the tool that is best for the observed teacher's goals and areas of focus.

Some tools have Primary and Secondary school versions.  Verbal flow and proximity chart tools are supported by classroom layouts which can be downloaded separately from the Secondary Classroom Layouts and Primary Classroom Layouts pages.
